When we are aligned with the Will of the Divine, no matter how we may name or envision it, all life becomes a blessing, miracles and magic happen, and prayers are answered. All we need do is ask and it is given to us. All we need do is be sincere when we cry out, and will be answered, and now amount of difference in names, forms, or policies will change the fact that the Divine is the Divine, and not the sole property of one faction or another.

Wiccan magic, real Wiccan magic, is the result of such an alignment of Self with the Divine. The ritual forms and techniques of spellcraft are useless at best until we have found this position of the spirit and then they become sacred gestures or honor and reverence that speak volumes for what we have no words to express.

So, you can keep buying the spell books, the Books of Shadows, talismans, and ritual tools. You can keep grinding herbs, lighting candles, and huffing incense. You can even keep telling yourself that even though it doesn't seem to work, that it actually is, and that you practice real magic. On the other hand, you could also stop the above, sit down, and honestly open yourself to the reality, reach out with your spirit, call out to the Soul of Life.. to the Lord and Lady, and ask if you can do these things, ask to be in such a condition and quality that you can weave magics that will change life and living. After all, you were born into this world, you did not birth it, and arrogance is the first opponent of real magic.
