Okay, friends, I think I have added some New Year's Eve photos, in two galleries: Camelot! and Camelot! 2. We are leaving the decorations up (and the party room open to the cats -- egads!) until the 17th, when we're hosting a Camelot Redux party for them as couldn't make it the first time, or want to do it again.

In the meantime, in the last couple of days we've been starting our Spring cleaning, and we've gotten quite a lot done. Things are still in some disarray, but we've accomplished everything on our daily to-do lists.

With some other folks, I'm aiming to write a poem a day for 100 days. Here's today's; and it's a haiku because I've just been exchanging some e-mail with a long time friend in Japan.

Dead bunny on the
front walk: hawks are not tidy
when they eat breakfast.

Let us hope that Nature is not much messier than that for the rest of the year. Blessings!
